Are your pets protected?

Dring storm damages, SERVPRO® of Henderson, Webster, Union, McLean, & Crittenden Counties can help with clean-up and restoration.

But, we cannot restore or prepare your pets.

Emergency preparedness should include your family furry friend. We want to offer tips to help you prepare your family and home to best protect your pets during a storm.

-Consider microchipping your pets. During a storm, pets can go and hide or run away. When someone finds them, having a microchip can help locate them.

-Make a list of places that will let you stay after a storm with a pet. Not all places allow animals, so research and keep a list beforehand.

-Have recent and up-to-date photos of any and all of your pets.

-Keep an emergency kit for them like you would for your family. Anything from medicine to helping keep them calm during a stressful situation.

-Keep a sign in your window that alerts the fire department that you have a pet inside (which can be useful during a storm or fire emergency)

Pets are an important part of our families. Keep your pet safe and prepared!
